Fifth Annual TromaDance New Mexico Film Festival

Founded by Kurly Tlapoyawa (cult movie icon and President of Burning Paradise Entertainment) and Troma President Lloyd Kaufman in 2004, TromaDance New Mexico offers three days of incredible independent cinema - birthed from the hard work and twisted imaginations of filmmakers from around the world.
The festival will take place from Nov. 21-23 at the Guild Cinema in Nob Hill. Featuring over 20 hours of programming, this year's festival includes 7 feature films and over 30 short subjects. Highlights from this year's festival include the feature length films SLUMBER PARTY SLAUGHTERHOUSE, JESSICKA RABID, and the Japanes horror film LATE BLOOMER. Lloyd Kaufman will be hosting a screening of his latest film POULTRYGIEST on Friday night at 8:30pm. Mr. Kaufman will also be giving his MAKE YOUR OWN DAMN MOVIE master class Saturday at 1pm. Tickets are $5 per screening, or $40 for an all festival pass. Kurly Tlapoyawa and Lloyd Kaufman have both dedicated their lives to the advancement of independent art. Their most recent collaboration was the upcoming book DIRECT YOUR OWN DAMN MOVIE! (To be released in January by Focal Press).
