Santa Rosa, located on historic Route 66, is home to Blue Hole one of the unique geological phenomena in the southwest. Blue Hole is an 81' deep (diameter 80' top, 130' bottom) natural artesian spring that delivers up to 3,000 gallons of water per minute and remains a constant 64 degrees year-round. Artesian spring lakes, foothills, mesas, and plateaus surround Santa Rosa. The architectural-style of the city is a mix of 1940s & 1950s sandstone and brick buildings.
