Hours: 9:00am - 5:00 pm: Monday – Friday
The Resource Center is available for NM-based filmmakers to do research, work on film-related software, or hold small meetings. Here is what is available at the New Mexico State Film Office, 418 Montezuma Street in Santa Fe:
- A Windows based desktop computer available for self-training on Final Draft screenwriting software, plus EP Budgeting and Scheduling (by appointment only.) Reserved time is available for 4 hour increments.
- An archive of current and past trade periodicals, including DAILY VARIETY, HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, BELOW THE LINE, SHOOT, SCREEN MAGAZINE, AMERICAN CINEMATOGRAPHER, MARKET, P3 PRODUCTION UPDATE, EMMY EXPOSURE, MILLIMETER, STUDENT FILMMAKERS, INDIE SLATE, THE CREATIVE EDGE IN COMMERICAL PRODUCTION BOARDS, DIGITAL CONTENT PRODUCER, INCAMERA, MOVING PICTURES, and more. Many of these date back to 2005.
- A small library with sample contracts from the Screen Actor's Guild and the Writer's Guild of America, copyright guides, LA 411, Hollywood Creative Directory, Showbiz Labor Guide and more books on directing/writing/producing.
- A MacIntosh computer with Final Cut Pro 5 and Logic Pro 7. Reserved time is available for 8 hour increments.
