ADAM [supporting, male, white, early-30’s] Deflated after terminal illness diagnosis, processes emotions through alcohol and expresses them through anger; broken ego, low self-worth leaving a shell of a man that Mezli once knew; wishes to leave behind a legacy.
GRANDMOTHER [featured, female, Hispanic/Latina, 50’s-60’s] Witnesses her daughter make the same relationship mistakes; became a mother and then a grandmother at a young age; protective and caring of her granddaughter. Not a speaking role.
MOTHER [featured, female, Latina, very early-30’s] Young mother who is continuously involved in toxic relationships; searching for safety and security for herself and for her daughter. Not a speaking role. Physical role – must be comfortable depicting some physical violence/abuse.
