About: The Pearl is a Space Helmet Picture that centers around Lola, a twenty-something woman going on a first date at a bar with RJ, a man she is too quick to trust. They have an intimate experience and Lola ends up in a carnivorous supernatural encounter.
Lola (twenties) Woman of color, confident and flirtatious. Has a dangerous blend of naivety, optimism, and belief in fate. Must be comfortable with vocal and physical characterization of sexual climax.
RJ (twenties or thirties) White male, confident, flirtatious, smooth. Performs trustworthiness while having ulterior motives. Must be comfortable portraying heightened sexual situation.
Omen Woman (fifties) A woman who has seen better days. Ideally seeking a performer with limb differences or bilateral leg amputation, but is not required. Appears beatific but is actually colluding with RJ.
