About: With a comedic skit approach, join and relate with a mother as she warmly shares her traditions with her children. And laugh with two friends during a conversation about a misinterpretation between their spoken languages.
This is a comedy themed around language, connection and culture.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
Main Cast
Pedro: Mexican male in his early to mid 20’s. He’s great friends with Chip. Pedro is passionate about his heritage and enjoys the opportunity he has to bring his friend into his language. He is playful, makes jokes and enjoys teasing his friend.
Chip: White male in his early to mid 20’s. He’s great friends with Pedro. Chip isn’t a spanish speaker. He often asks Pedro for clarification on Spanish words. Chip is upbeat, confused, but, looking to learn, and enjoys his and Pedro’s banter.
Alma: A confident and stylish Mexican Woman. In her 30’s. She’s lively, constantly dancing, taking excellent care of her kids and is always sharing her culture/traditions with them too. Alma has a collection of ‘pretty aprons’, made to make cooking and cleaning look just as good as she feels.
Son: Mexican, Male, must be at least 18 years of age. He learns and absorbs so much from his mother but finds it all confusing, reacting with doubt at his mom’s unconventional solutions. He’s sarcastic but loves his mom.
Side/Background Cast
Waiter/Waitress: Can be any age and Gender. They serve customers at a local Mexican restaurant and recognizes Pedro, who’s a regular. Has one line.
Man eating 1: Male, can be any age. Background, just enjoying a meal with his friend.
Male eating 2: Male, can be any age. Background, just enjoying a meal with his friend.
Couple: Male and Female, must be at least 18 years of age but no specified age in particular. Background, just enjoying a meal with their partner.
