About Trevor:

A tribal member of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Indians, TREVOR MUNSON grew up in
New Jersey and Texas where he earned an M.A. in English Literature from Texas State
University. After graduating with honors, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as
a screenwriter.

He is currently co-writing the re-imagined third installment of the Boondock Saints
franchise for Thunder Road.

Trevor’s first job was writing a television movie called A Ton of Money for Fox Television
based on the real-life theft of seventeen million dollars from Loomis Fargo. The same
year his spec script, Lone Star State of Mind, starring Joshua Jackson and Jamie King
and John Mellencamp was produced by Sony ScreenGems.

In the television space, Trevor adapted his own debut novel, Angel of Vengeance, into a
pilot script that became the basis for the cult hit CBS television series, Moonlight,
starring Alex O’loughlin (Hawaii Five-0) for which he served as co-creator and co-
Executive Producer. The series won the People’s Choice award for Best New Drama.
He has subsequently pitched and sold other original television concepts to ABC (Angel
Eyes), Sony Television (Psight) , and NBC (The Vanisher).

More recently, Trevor adapted Warren Adler’s novel, Serpent’s Bite, for actress and
frequent collaborator Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect), and his western feature based on the
life of Joaquin Murrieta is currently set up at Thunder Road Pictures.

On the side, Trevor writes and produces independent projects to take to the festival
market. His award-winning films have been programmed at many top tier festivals
including Tribeca, Nantucket, SCAD, Cleveland, Bentonville, Screamfest, and Holly
Shorts.

On top of his writing career, Trevor also teaches MFA screenwriting for the University of
Southern California, TV Writing for UCLA Extension, as well as working as a writing
coach and consultant.
