The New Mexico State Film Office is gearing up to host its 4th annual New Mexico Film & Media Industry Conference on November 11th – 12th, 2016 at Isleta Resort & Casino. This is two-day conference is the absolute must attend “Go To” event of the year offering New Mexico’s film community unique access to panels (with a cutting edge line-up of speakers and panelists), dynamic presentations as well as the ever important networking opportunities. This event is a must for anyone interested in the film or emergent media industries.
The primary goal of the conference is to inspire and spread the word about the explosive growth of the film and emergent media industries in New Mexico and to create career pathways that many may not have been aware existed. As a “give back” to the community, the film office aims to provide an educational experience for those interested in learning about state resources and other realities of this industry. Through a variety of presentations and networking events, discussions cover topics that touch upon all aspects of the industry from an array of viewpoints.
This year will see the debut of the Emergent Media Playground, an interactive environment designed to encourage attendees to touch and feel the technology of the future and to understand its current applications across the state.
COME ONE COME ALL
“This is a great event for businesses that have traditionally serviced the film, television and media industry as well as those seeking an avenue into these dynamic careers” said Director Nick Maniatis. “Industry members, business owners and the general public are invited to look inside this multi- faceted industry to discover the cutting-edge and informative perspectives on today’s industry and its future.”
