New Mexico is home to a trusted group of casting directors, including Emmy and Artios Award nominees and winners, with deep roots in the local industry. Their strong relationships with area talent agents and gives them access to the over 2,000 Union and Non-Union actors in New Mexico make them essential partners in finding the right cast for your project. As qualified local crew, they also help your production maximize New Mexico’s film incentive rebates.

The New Mexico Film Office has launched a new actor reel designed to showcase New Mexico talent and increase visibility with casting professionals, producers and other industry decisionmakers in and outside the state.
The idea for the CAST NEW MEXICO reel was brainstormed by the two casting directors — Jo Edna Boldin CSA and Jennifer Schwalenberg CSA — who are members of the Governor’s Council of Film and Media Industries. The idea was presented to the New Mexico Film Office, which agreed to support and back the project.
