Bureau of land management & forest service

The BLM, a Division of the U.S. Department of Interior, manages over 13 million acres in New Mexico for recreational, range, timber, mineral, oil, gas, watershed, fish and wildlife, scientific and cultural values.

BLM Field Offices may issue “minimum impact” permits for production purposes. Permits may be issued at the Field Office after it has been determined that the filming activity will have a minimum impact on the public land. For more specific information contact the New Mexico Bureau of Land Management Office nearest to your location.

*Companies considering shooting on federal property must connect with the proper federal contact immediately, as requirements and lead times may change.
