The film industry was on display during the Las Cruces International Film Festival on April 8-12.
The festival — which is in its 11th year — showcased over 160 films, features, short films, animation and music videos from 50 different
countries.
A few guests of honor included Steve Zahn, Michael Rooker, Bruce Davison for their catalog of work.
The festival is produced by New Mexico State University students, and the New Mexico Film Office’s Shane Shariff took part in the festival.
The inaugural Taos Film Festival took place April 23-26. The festival’s mission is to showcase independent filmmaking voices from around the world and our own backyard.
Rochelle Bussey, from the New Mexico State Film Office, is taking part in a panel, which looks at how to make a movie, along with details on grant writing, funding options, working with the film offices, tax incentives and success stories.
