The Department of Film and Digital Arts at the University of New Mexico, College of Fine Arts, invites applications for two Assistant Professor positions in Film and Digital Arts. The positions begin in August 2022. Teaching responsibilities will include foundational and advanced studio courses in a wide range of production approaches and aesthetics. The successful candidates may also teach classes in the history, criticism, and theory of film and digital media. Film and Digital Arts offers degrees and concentrations in Film Production, Animation, Gaming, and Film History and Criticism.
Minimum Qualifications: M.F.A. or Ph.D. in digital production/moving image art or related interdisciplinary field by start date of appointment.

Responsibilities The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting Account Executives in the planning and execution of projects with a primary focus on Film, Television, and Broadcast markets. This employee will serve as an intermediary between sales, the customer, and operations by supporting sales efforts through the selection and delivery of equipment and services. The job includes such tasks as assessment of equipment availability, cost evaluation, continual communication between Sales & Operations. Additional duties include but are not limited to:
Essential functions Support Account Executives in managing and supporting 3-5 million in sales revenue Evaluate and communicate related job costs and technical specifications Enter orders into the proprietary inventory management system Answer phone calls and manage emails from prospective and existing customers Coordinate with Camera Engineering, Prep, and QC teams to ascertain customer’s needs Collaborate with Operations and Logistics teams to ensure quality goals are met Seek opportunities for improving your knowledge base to better serve our customers Be available for sales on-call rotation as needed Help track and manage jobs costs

Receive, inspect and service equipment upon return. Identify damages and missing equipment. Prioritize equipment for servicing. Liaise with customer and all internal departments in order to communicate issues while delivering the highest customer service and quality.
Ship Equipment packages, Branch transfers and Repairs, as directed from Lead Prep Tech and Camera Operations. Communicate with customers and all necessary internal departments to deliver the highest customer service, while maintaining accurate records and paperwork.
Act as a Prep Technician for projects, as directed by Lead Prep Tech. Maintain constant communication for package changes with camera operations and the marketing representative.

Film Production Coordinator for Sagebrush Church
Sagebrush is one church with services reaching all across the world online as well as serving people locally in campuses across New Mexico and Belize. Sagebrush Church is looking for a full-time Film Production Coordinator to work with the Creative Team in Albuquerque to execute engaging video content. The ideal candidate will help connect and coordinate video shoots as well as manage the video studio and prop needs.
We’re in search of someone who has an amazing work ethic, a proactive flair, a self-motivated drive for quality and creativity; as well as a strong passion for excellence in film. An appreciation for the creative arts is highly preferred as well as the ability to understand and connect with actors, production personnel, videographers, designers, film crew and other creative types.
- Manage production timelines such as scripting, casting, filming, editing, and delivery.
- Oversee location scouting and manage any financial arrangements to secure locations.
- Organize and schedule actor auditions and maintain the actor database.
- Coordinate and find actors and testimony stories.
- Manage studio equipment and coordinate the check-out/check-in process of equipment.
- Keep studio organized, clean and maintained.
- Reorder studio accessories like batteries, cleaning supplies, memory cards, etc.
- Manage and coordinate film calendar for studio shoots and on location shoots.
- Find and purchase props, wardrobe, and other elements needed for shoots.
- Keep prop and wardrobe room functional and easy to navigate and find items.
- Be the go-to person for set design for video productions.
- Prepare an amazing food/refreshment crafty table with snacks/drinks for actors, crew, etc.
- Manage and submit purchase orders, keeping track of expenses to budget.
- A Believer who maintains a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and would enjoy being in a culture that is Jesus-focused.
- A degree or equivalent certification in film; life experience in the industry will also be considered in lieu of a formal education
- 2+ years of experience as an assistant at a film studio or production company.
- A foundation and understanding of video production.
- Uncanny ability to work on tight deadlines, while maintaining flexibility.
- Highly detail-oriented and a passion for things that bring your joy through organizing.
- Ability to maintain a calm sense of urgency even during times of crisis and high levels of activity.
- Thrive in an environment that moves quickly and love the idea of reaching one more for Christ.
