New Mexico Film Office Announces Feature Film “Burlesque Ghost Hunters” Wraps Filming in New Mexico
Santa Fe, N.M. - New Mexico Film Office announced today that the feature film, “Burlesque Ghost Hunters,” wrapped filming in and around Socorro in June.
"Burlesque Ghost Hunters” is directed by Laura Marie Segura and stars Sam Barber, Tara Southerland, Don Gibb, Monica Archuleta, Frankee Romero, Monica Archuleta, Avaria Groves, Alyzza Gallegos, Anthony Pagliaro, and Braden Anderson.
A historic hotel with a dark past becomes the target of a YouTube ghost-hunting crew. As they prepare for their investigation, a flamboyant troupe of burlesque dancers shares their space. But the veil between worlds is thinner than they imagine, and a malevolent entity lurks, waiting to be awakened by one of their own reckless actions.
The production employed over 50 New Mexicans, including 15 crew members, 12 resident principal actors, and 25 background talents.
