New Mexico Film Office Announces Short Film “Safe & Sacred” Filming in New Mexico
Albuquerque, N.M. - The New Mexico Film Office announced today that the short film “Safe & Sacred” will be filming in and around Albuquerque through September.
"Safe & Sacred” is directed by Jessica Mendez Sisqueiros (“The Last of the Chupacabras”) and tells the story of Luna and her boyfriend Gabriel as they embark on a trip to Luna’s childhood home. As they weather comical misunderstandings and personal breakthroughs, it will take every bit of humor and family support they can muster to forge their future together.
The production will employ over 30 New Mexicans, including 35 crew members, 4 principal actors, and 6 resident principal actors.
