Announces the Feature Film
Hot Seat
is Currently Filming in New Mexico
SANTA FE, NM - The New Mexico Film Office announced today the feature
film Hot Seat, produced by Hot Seat Movie LLC, is currently in production.
Filming will take place in November 2021 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Hot Seat is the story of a man who shows up at work to find a bomb under his
chair.
“Hot Seat is a big project with a stellar creative team behind it. Not only is the
production employing hundreds of New Mexican crew and talent, but it’s also
being shot in one of our up and coming film hotspots, Las Cruces,” Amber
Dodson, director, New Mexico Film Office, said.
"We welcome Hot Seat to Las Cruces. We’re excited to host this film production
and the opportunities it will create for local crew and small businesses," Las
Cruces Mayor Ken Miyagishima said.
Hot Seat is directed by James Cullen Bresseck (Survive the Game, Beyond the
Law) and produced by Randall Emmet (The Irishman, Boss Level) and George
Furla (Lone Survivor).
“We are very excited to be filming in New Mexico again after many years. We
had tremendous success on our past productions here and a great experience
with New Mexico crews,” Furla said.
The production will employ approximately 55 New Mexico crew members, 10
New Mexico principal actors, and 200 New Mexico background talent.
