TV series ‘TRMO: Scout’ documents journey of Scout powerboat concept to initial build
The TV series “TRMO: Sout” wrapped production on Sept. 25 in Las Cruces.
“TRMO: Scout” follows the transformation of a high-performance Scout powerboat from initial concept through its completed build and life on the water.
The series goes behind the scenes with the designers, marine technicians, fabricators, engineers, craftsmen, and specialists responsible for bringing the project to life. Each episode explores a different stage of the process—from design and engineering decisions to mechanical systems, fabrication, electronics, interiors, finishing work, and performance upgrades.
As the build progresses, the series documents the challenges, revisions, and problem-solving inherent in creating a highly customized marine platform. The project ultimately moves from the shop to the water, where the team conducts testing and sea trials before putting the finished vessel into real-world use.
The production employed nine New Mexico crew members and one New Mexico principal actor. It is directed and produced by Todd Lundbohm.
