New Mexico Film Office Announces “The Really Loud House” Season 2 Resumes Production in New Mexico

Santa Fe, NM - Amber Dodson, the New Mexico Film Office director, announced today that Nickelodeon will resume production on season two of the original live-action television series, “A Really Loud House,” in Albuquerque, NM.

Season two of “The Really Loud House” will continue to follow Lincoln Loud (Wolfgang Schaeffer, “The Really Loud House,” “Pivoting”) and his best friend Clyde (Jahzir Bruno, “The Really Loud House,” “The Witches”), as they go on adventures in Royal Woods while also navigating the chaos of living in a family with ten sisters.

Playing the real-life versions of the beloved Loud family in the movie, the cast includes Brian Stepanek as Lynn Loud Sr., Jolie Jenkins as Rita Loud, Eva Carlton as Leni Loud, Sophia Woodward as Luna Loud, Catherine Ashmore Bradley as Luan Loud, Annaka Fourneret as Lynn Loud, Aubin Bradley as Lucy Loud, Ella Allan as Lola Loud, Mia Allan as Lana Loud, Lexi Janicek as Lisa Loud, Lexi DiBenedetto as Lori Loud, and August Michael Peterson as Lily Loud.

“The Really Loud House” season two is produced by Tim Hobert (“Scrubs,” “The Middle,” “Community”), Jonathan Judge (“Life in Pieces,” “Young Sheldon”) and Michael Rubiner (“The Loud House”).

Production for Nickelodeon Studios is overseen by Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin, co-heads of Nickelodeon & Awesomeness Live-Action. Brittany Cope serves as Nickelodeon’s executive in charge of production for the franchise.

“The Loud House” animated series debuted on Nickelodeon in May 2016. As one of the longest-running animated series on Nickelodeon with 176 episodes, the property has also been translated into movies, a comic book series continuing to roll out new stories, chapter books, a digital album, live-action series and movies, and a podcast, “Listen Out Loud.” The Emmy Award-winning animated series is executive produced by Michael Rubiner. Adam Henry serves as supervising producer, Kevin Sullivan serves as co-producer, and Gabrielle Dolbey is art director.

The Studios at the Journal Center are home to the “The Loud House” franchise and is one of seven newly added locations on the list of Qualified Production Facilities from the New Mexico Film Office. The space was allocated for productions after the Albuquerque Journal began outsourcing the printing of their paper to fellow, family-owned, local newspaper, The Santa Fe New Mexican.

The production has employed approximately 135 New Mexico crew members, 100 New Mexico background talent, and 10 New Mexico principal actors.
