New Mexico Film Office Announces “Tales of the Faded West” Wraps Production

Santa Fe, NM - Amber Dodson, the New Mexico State Film Office Director, announced today that the pilot “Tales of the Faded West” filmed in October in and around Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM.

Directed by Brenden Wedner, produced by Wedner (“Sicario,” “The Dark Knight Rises”) and Cole Finney, and starring Finney, Michelle Campbell (“Yellowstone”), Keith Jardine ("Inherent Vice"), and Sam Quinn (“Only the Brave”). “Tales of the Faded West” is a western with a post-apocalyptic twist as it follows a world of characters and their quest for survival and clean water.

Brenden Wedner said, “I am so happy to be furthering above-the-line opportunities for New Mexico filmmakers. This project is made possible by the effort of New Mexico talent and the coordination of organizations like the New Mexico Film Office.”

The production employed approximately 15-20 New Mexico crew members, 10 background/extras, and 8 New Mexico principal actors.
