New Mexico Film Office announces production of digital interactive media for Western Heritage Museum
Santa Fe, NM – The New Mexico Film Office announced today that the production of interactive experiences for a major Western Heritage Museum will be created in Corrales.
This project, directed by Jim Spadaccino and produced by George Hardebeck, includes designing and developing a series of interactive, screen-based media exhibits. The features will allow museum visitors to interact with a variety of collections, including photographs, film and video, museum awards, and contributed content. These interactives will be part of a research center, allowing museum guests and scholars to access a variety of digital collections. The interactive exhibits will also include ways to share collection items.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to help tell stories of the American West using unique, digital collection items,” Spadaccino stated. “Providing access to everyday museum visitors, along with scholars, will help the public better understand the complex, diverse, and fascinating West.”
The creation of the interactive experiences will employ approximately 6 New Mexico crew members.
